OAKRIDGE BIBLE CHAPEL

The Book of Deuteronomy (Cover-to-Cover Series)

With Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers in the rearview mirror, our trek through the Bible now arrives at the end of the Book of Moses, or, the Pentateuch. Though it’s probably best known for the second giving of the ten commandments (5:6–21; 10:1–2)—a necessity after Moses smashed the first set in anger (Ex 32:19)—Deuteronomy has much more going on than a mere legal do-over.

And to help us better process this thirty-four chapter text we welcome to the podcast, Dr. Paul Weaver. Dr. Weaver serves as the Academic Dean of the Word of Life Global Bible Institute. He’s is a professor of Bible and theology, a productive author, and is passionate about providing high-quality Bible study resources that are affordable and within the reach of anyone serious about studying God’s word. Dr. Weaver also hosts the Learn the Word Podcast.
