Dear Prayer Warriors,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We hope this message finds you well and rejoicing in His abundant grace and mercy!
As we reflect on the blessings of the summer, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the manifold ways God has worked through Camp Good News. We welcomed many children to camp this summer (409 registered). This means many young hearts have heard the Word, and we rejoice in the twenty-three professions of faith that occurred, including one from a counsellor this summer. Truly, the Lord is moving mightily among us, fulfilling His promise in John 15:5, “If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.”

It has been a joy to see the counsellors/young people being stretched in their faith through the Discipleship Leadership program, sharing their experiences with local churches through memory passages, worship music, testimonies, and mini-sermons. As Hebrews 4:12 reminds us, “For the Word of God is alive and active… it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” The impact on their lives is profound and lasting.
This summer, over 50 believers served at Camp Good News in various capacities. This outpouring of support is a testament to God’s hand at work among us. We have also strengthened our connections with local churches, including VBS families and children at Trinity B.C, Eden B.C, Orange Heights, Lakeside and Windsor Baptist. These relationships are vital as we continue to nurture a Christ-centered community.

As we move forward, we ask for your prayers for a new bus driver to join our team. Also for healing for a torn ligament in Stephanie’s right knee. We trust in God’s provision to meet these needs, as Philippians 4:19 assures us, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Let us remain steadfast in our mission, working with all our hearts for the glory of God, as Colossians 3:23–24 reminds us: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord… It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
In Christ’s Service,
Phil and Stephanie, Michael, Christina, Joy and Joanna Wahab

By job title, Alice is the office administrator at Oakridge. But her behind-the-scenes efforts go far beyond that! She is actively involved in the leadership team for the Tuesday evening women's bible study, she is on the mission committee, and she has recently both stepped into the leadership of church bridal and baby shower celebrations, and started teaching in our Ozone kids program. Oh, and if you see any special seasonal or holiday decorations around the church, it's a safe bet that Alice was involved!
