Below is a December 2024 prayer update sent to the Oakridge Bible Chapel family from Brian and Sally Seim, missionaries who serve the Lord with SIM Canada as an extension of OBC’s gospel ministry.
Dear Friends, thank you for caring and praying. Some of our greatest prayer needs this coming month include:
- Sally was down with pneumonia for much of December and early January. As a result, the party at our home with our ESL classes scheduled for December will be held in mid-February, Lord willing. Our students are very understanding and look forward to joining us then, and Sally is getting stronger.
- Chapters 1, 2, and 3 of my thesis are in a final form. I am working on bringing chapters 4-8 up to the same level.
- Please remember the missionary in Hamilton with the mixed (six languages) South Asian “Gospel community.” I attended his pre-Christmas service, with over 100 in attendance. A handful asked that it be held in a common (English) language so all could understand.
As we continue with this new year, may God’s health, presence and wisdom accompany your relationship with him.
