Below is an April 2025 prayer update sent to the Oakridge Bible Chapel family from Brian and Sally Seim, missionaries who serve the Lord with SIM Canada as an extension of OBC’s gospel ministry.
Dear Friends,
- I completed the writing of my thesis on March 23
- I still need to convert the finished product to a template, reevaluate my bibliography, ensure my interviews are complete, and edit my definitions. Please pray!
- I intend to submit my thesis to my supervisors by April 15
- Sally and I will continue ESL teaching (following Spring Break). Our classes are increasing, and the students continue to enjoy us and one another. We both get opportunities to explain parts of our faith; please pray for the right words.
- My missionary friend from India is completing his ministry plan this month. Please pray with me that he will understand how to put his objectives together.
- I will meet with another missionary from Nigeria on April 7 to see if I can encourage his mission initiative, which seems quite similar to mine.
