Below is a September 2025 prayer update sent to the Oakridge Bible Chapel family from Brian and Sally Seim, missionaries who serve the Lord with SIM Canada as an extension of OBC’s gospel ministry.
Hello, friends!
Autumn is fast approaching, with new activities and an increase in issues. With that in mind, here are a few things for which I would invite prayer.
- The date of my Viva (verbal defence of thesis) is September 10, 9:30 a.m. EST.
- Prayer related to Viva: Health, recall, connection with examiners, and making sure I have the right notes at hand.
- ESL begins on September 12 (continuing every Thursday). Sally and I intend to continue teaching. Please pray for spiritual interest and personal relationships among students and ourselves.
- Two medical examinations in the latter part of the month.
