OAKRIDGE BIBLE CHAPEL

“Follow Me”: An Open and Enduring Invitation (Mark 15:40–16:8)

The journey of following Jesus Christ can be a similar experience. While the start is thrilling and the final destination is exhilarating, there are moments in between that can seem less than enjoyable and even difficult. There may be times we doubt our map, hit the rumble-strips, find ourselves lost in unfamiliar territory, and even want to call out, “Are we there yet?” What happens then? How does God respond when we, his children, fail to be consistently and constantly faithful? Is there any hope for the imperfect Christian?

Josiah has served the Oakridge Bible Chapel family as one of its elders and one of its pastoral staff members since September 2018, before which he ministered as an associate pastor to a local congregation in the Canadian prairies. Josiah's desire is to be used by God to help equip the church for ministry, both while gathered (edification) and while scattered (evangelization). He is married to Patricia, and together they have five children—Jonah, Henry, Nathaniel, Josephine, and Benjamin.
