Below is a prayer update sent to the Oakridge Bible Chapel family from Brian and Sally Seim, missionaries who serve the Lord with SIM Canada as an extension of OBC’s gospel ministry.
Dear Friends,
This March, while still in winter for many of us, may be the beginning of spring for you. If so, may you see it as the re-beginning of his wondrous cycle of life.
- Other than final corrections to the Bibliography, all revisions to my thesis are complete. That will be finished once I receive it back from the editor. March 10, it will be in the hands of the registrar and publishers. On to graduation.
- I am starting the outline for a book on the central teachings from this research. This outline will be available in four PowerPoint presentations. On February 28, I will be presenting part one at Oakridge Bible Chapel’s Lively Oaks.
- Sally and I return to teaching ESL on Feb. 27th, following the Lunar New Year celebrations. Our time with students, singly and together, continues to grow. Please pray for a spiritual harvest.
- Please pray as I mentor and coach this month. It will be a rich and varied experience among the men I led to Christ and fellow missionaries. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer (Psalm 19:14).
