This week we turn a significant corner in our Cover-to-Cover series. Having traversed the path of the Pentateuch (Genesis through Deuteronomy) and walked the halls of History (Joshua through Esther), we now step into the beautiful chamber of Wisdom Literature. And the first piece of art we see when we enter the room is the book of Job—a fascinating account that addresses the always-relevant, alway-difficult, but always-important topics of divine sovereignty, human suffering, and humble dependance.
Today, we welcome to the podcast, Dr. Golan Brosh. Dr. Brosh currently serves as professor at the One for Israel Bible College just outside Tel Aviv, Israel, where he teaches Bible, theology, and Biblical Hebrew. He is also one of the authors of the recently released book, “Rabbinic Judaism Debunked” and is a frequent guest on the Pod for Israel podcast. It’s with his expertise in biblical Hebrew and Bible interpretation that Dr. Brosh is going to help us better understand the book of Job.

Josiah has served the Oakridge Bible Chapel family as one of its elders and one of its pastoral staff members since September 2018, before which he ministered as an associate pastor to a local congregation in the Canadian prairies. Josiah's desire is to be used by God to help equip the church for ministry, both while gathered (edification) and while scattered (evangelization). He is married to Patricia, and together they have five children—Jonah, Henry, Nathaniel, Josephine, and Benjamin.
